My philosophy on being anywhere near a kitchen, is that if I’m going to make something it better taste really good. And generally, it better involve chocolate. When I take my time to make something, that means I’m baking. Cooking just isn’t worth it for me.
Normally I only bake in the winter, hence most of my recipes tend to fall more on the Christmas-y side of things. However, sometimes I don’t care what season it is and eat them anyway. Here’s one of my favorite recipes: Andes Mint Cookies
To make Andes Mint Cookies, you’ll need:
- 2 cups of milk chocolate chips (2 store bags)
- 3/4 cup of margarine/butter
- 2 tablespoons of water
- 1 and 1/2 cups of brown sugar
- 2 and 1/2 cups of flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 and 1/4 teaspoons of baking power
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1-2 packages of Andes Mints
Instructions will be under the cut! This is a long post!
