Obviously I went AWOL for the month of May. I knew the last half of the month would be crazy, but I didn’t realize quite how crazy. I pretty much ended up switching between work clothes, pajamas, and workout gear–with several random outfits thrown in that (of course) didn’t get photographed.
Its been reasonably warm in Washington, so I’ve been mostly wearing jeans and tank tops. Which is really nothing to write home (or blog) about, anyways. Although I really regretted wearing jeans when I went to Seattle a couple Saturdays ago–shorts would definitely have been a better choice!
These red flats have started making a comeback. They’re comfortable and give a great pop of color. As for this floral skirt? It’s about to become one of my summer staples. Nothing puts you in a better mood than a pretty flouncy skirt.

Welcome back! This is a perfect outfit to start your summer, isn’t it?
Thanks! And it definitely is! I’m really looking forward to summer this year, for some reason I feel much more inspired than I did last year.
What a great skirt. It’s delightfully flouncy.
Thank you! It’s definitely a fun piece to haul out!
