Christmas is like crack to my family. All of us love it. We probably own more holiday decorating items than Martha Stewart. This is considered “toned down”. We have many more boxes and boxes of Christmas items.
Festive holiday spirit is the name of the game! The stocking on left in red and green is mine.
We’ve had these particular stockings since I was a kid.
Admittedly, our Christmas tree isn’t a “real” tree. But, honestly? I prefer it. We have a variety of ornaments from before I was born, places we’ve gone, and commemorating special occasions. Obviously, we also have some just because we liked them (FYI: There are a lot more presents under our tree right now).
We’ve got little areas of Christmas festivity scattered around the house…
Little Christmas oasis’ adorn the household. Can you tell we get really into the Christmas spirit?
The staircase is one of my favorite spots of Christmas-y cheer in the house.
These little Kris Kringles sit in the wall sconces. They’re so adorable and delicate!

This is “toned down”? And here I was looking at the photos and thinking, “Wow, you guys went all out, didn’t you?”
But it’s nice to have the holiday spirit though. I especially love the stocking staircase!
Yeah… we still have Christmas stuff that we haven’t got out this year! Mostly, a bunch of santas. My mom kind of has a santa addiction!
It’s definitely a wonderful atmosphere to be in though. You’re always feeling the holiday spirit!
I love how you decorated your house especially the staircase.
Thanks!
Wow, your house is amazing!! I would decorate like that, but I’m pretty sure my other half would kill me. That house pretty much is a manifestation of how I feel on the inside though…
Yeah, it is very Christmas-y around here. It probably helps that my family is very Christmas obsessed, so everyone gets into it.
It always feels very happy, though.
It’s wonderful to be surrounded by so much holiday cheer.
